For tartaric stabilisation and to lower a wine’s pH
This is an innovative technology that exploits the action of ionic exchange resins that can be regenerated perfectly with the aid of an sulfuric acid solution. After passing through the bottle containing the resins, the quantity of potassium contained in the wine being stabilised is gradually reduced. By reading the pH values at the outlet, the operator can establish the resulting stabilisation and continue the process until the required condition has been reached.
The units are perfectly independent, both throughout the regeneration of the resins and during the measurement of the pH by means of a suitable instrument at the outlet of the treated wine.
